This project began when my mother came to Warsaw and I needed to teach her how to navigate in metro. Before that, I barely ever looked at screens in trains because I never really needed to use them. But when my mother used them for the first time, I noticed how idifficult it was for her to understand the interface of the screens and find necessary information. That was the moment when I noticed all the problems of the UI and decided to improve it.

This project was quite different as, in order to define the direction of the solution, I had to heavily consider the specifics of the screen hardware and the environment in trains.
And in general, this type of interface is very different from conventional mobile or desktop interfaces.

The new look of the current/next station gives prominence to the station name. Districts element was redesigned to make it less eye-catching and distracting. The contact info and date are now more space efficient and less distractive
